Cookie policy
What Kalkola stores in your browser, how we measure visits, and how you can change your choices.
Effective 8 October 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who operates this website?
Kalkola is a Crowdechain brand. This policy applies to kalkola.cz and describes the technologies used on this landing page.
For operator information, visit Crowdechain s.r.o.. For questions about these settings, use our protected contact form.
2. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small records a website saves in your browser. Local storage is another way to remember a preference on your device. This page uses first-party storage to remember privacy choices and the language you select.
3. What is stored on your device?
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consentFirst-party cookie | Remembers your privacy choice, policy version and the time you made the choice. Necessary storage, with SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. | One year, unless you delete it sooner. |
kalkola-languageBrowser local storage | Remembers English or Simplified Chinese after you use the language switch. It is a functional preference, not a visitor identifier. | Until you clear site storage or choose another language. |
The enquiry form uses short-lived signed verification tokens in page memory. They expire after two hours and are not saved as a browser cookie or local-storage record.
4. Cookieless Umami analytics
We use self-hosted Umami on our own European infrastructure to understand traffic. Its tracking code does not set an analytics cookie or store a persistent visitor identifier on your device.
Reports include page views, referrer origins, browser and device information, approximate country, and selected actions such as opening a GPU enquiry or choosing a workload.
We remove query strings and URL fragments from analytics URLs, limit referrers to their origin, and only send predefined action names and configuration choices. Names, emails, phone numbers, company names and enquiry text are never sent to Umami. We do not identify visitors by their contact details.
Cookieless measurement starts when you visit, unless you have disabled it in Cookie settings or your browser sends Do Not Track. You can disable it at any time. A change stops future measurement in this browser; it does not erase visits already recorded.
Traffic records stay in our self-hosted Umami reporting system until we remove them. The one-year expiry of your preference cookie is separate from the retention of those reports.
For technical details, see Umami documentation.
5. Your privacy choices
The privacy notice offers Allow analytics, Disable analytics and Settings. Both analytics choices are available directly. Settings lets you review necessary storage and change the cookieless measurement option.
Your choice is stored in the versioned cookie_consent cookie for one year. Necessary preferences remain available so the site can remember the choice you requested. If you remove the cookie, we cannot remember your opt-out and will show the notice again.
6. Your browser controls
We respect the browser’s Do Not Track setting. You can also block analytics requests with your browser’s privacy tools and delete cookies or local storage in its site-data settings. Language selection and the enquiry form continue to work when analytics is disabled.
7. Other services
Only Umami is used for analytics on Kalkola. This landing page has no advertising pixels, cross-site advertising identifiers or account identification.
The protected contact form sends your submitted contact details and project brief to our shared contact service so our team can reply. These details are not analytics data.
If a separate security verification service is enabled for the form in future, its device-storage behavior will be reviewed and this policy updated before it is introduced.
8. Updates and contact
We will update this policy when the technologies or purposes change. Material changes to stored privacy choices can use a new policy version and show the notice again.
For a question about this policy or traffic measurement, contact the Crowdechain team through Kalkola’s contact form.
